G’Day and Bonjour.
Brentos is Australian illustrator Brent Turner, and French Canadian born Tash Leemburg. If we haven't met yet, it's awesome to meet you! We paint murals, illustrate books, design merch and try to bring a bit of stoke to the world whilst shining a light on how cool Aussie wildlife and the natural world is.

A signature style
We've crafted a signature art style that swings from a mature psychedelic pastel punk theme inspired by the likes of vintage Mambo that can be seen in bars, pubs and breweries across Australia – with a softer whimsical theme that can be enjoyed by all ages and discovered in Brent's book Australia From Dawn to Dusk.

Brent, the illustrator
Brent grew up with the bush on his doorstep where he’d spend his free time exploring fire trails, building bush shacks and searching for yabbies in secret watering holes. If he wasn’t in the bush, he’d be at the beach body surfing with mates or learning Photoshop and HTML on his old computer. He's the guy who makes the illustrations.

Tash, master of all trades
Tash moved from Montréal to Sydney in 2017. As an adventure seeker she fell in love with surfing and when surfing with beavers in Montreal river rapids wasn't enough, she jumped on a plane to Australia to find the perfect wave, where she is still learning to surf triple overhead ankle slappers. Tash is the master of all trades that keeps our little art practice humming along.

Inspired by nature
Growing up in the bush and on the coast you develop a real appreciation for the sights, smells and connectedness of the Australian bush, of the plants, the insects, reptiles and animals that we share this land with. It's our mission as artists to celebrate this and aim to be a positive voice for our wildlife.

Helping our wildlife mates
When Brent began making art in 2015, it started as a hobby where he'd donate his proceeds to WIRES. What started as a hobby soon grew into a small business that today still supports wildlife and we're proud to have raised over $45,000 for wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts through various fundraising campaigns and collaborations.
